From a childhood passion to building Repair My Denim — this is the story behind the stitches.
Clothes have been my passion since I was young — designing them, specifically. That passion led me to study Fashion Design, and I graduated with a first-class degree. But not long after, I realised the industry was oversaturated, saturated with more clothes than the world needed. Coming from a working-class background, repair had always felt like the obvious answer — you fix what's broken, you don't throw it away.
Denim became my focus almost by chance. I started as a stylist at Levi's while at university, and went on to become a Tailor Ambassador, overseeing more than 8 tailor shops across the UK. Working with a brand where craft meets quality gave me the experience and knowledge to take things further — and combined with my passion for sustainable fashion, I decided to start my own denim repair company.
We've now repaired thousands of jeans for hundreds of happy customers.
Based in Cambridge — where people cycle a lot, and (unsurprisingly) need a fair few crotch repairs — we operate across the whole UK. Clear process, transparent pricing, no hidden costs. Just genuine, quality repairs and alterations.
We're specialists, and that's the difference. For everyday needs, you see a GP. For something that needs real expertise, you see a specialist. When it comes to denim, that's us.
We're a team of five — quality over quantity — and we do everything in house. That means easy communication, no unnecessary delays, and your jeans back in your hands within a week.
We also work beyond individual customers, partnering with clothing brands, shopping centres, Cambridge University, and local charities to bring denim repair to more people, in more places. We like to keep busy.
That's the story so far. But every pair of jeans we repair adds another chapter — and we'd love yours to be next.
